About Warco

Over 50 Years of
U.S. Manufacturing.

Since 1971, Warco has built a single-focus reputation: manufacturing transformer components that utilities and OEMs can depend on.

Company History

Founded in 1971.
Still manufacturing here.

Warco Inc. was established in 1971 as a specialty manufacturer of transformer bushings and electrical insulation components for the U.S. power industry. From the beginning, the company focused on a narrow set of products made to exacting specifications for utility-grade applications.

Over five decades, Warco built a comprehensive catalog covering the full voltage range used in distribution and power transformers — from 1.2 KV low-voltage distribution bushings through 46 KV power class units with 250 KV BIL ratings.

The company manufacturing base has remained in the United States throughout its history. The current 65,000 sq. ft. facility on 15 acres in Marthasville, Missouri, represents continued investment in domestic manufacturing capacity.

Warco serves investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, transformer OEMs, and industrial MRO buyers across North America. Its replacement porcelain lines cover OEM-fit components for ABB, GE, Westinghouse, McGraw-Edison, RTE, S&C, and Kyle equipment.

Operating Principles

How we work.

U.S. Manufacturing Only

Everything Warco sells is made in our Marthasville, Missouri facility. No offshore sourcing for finished product.

Single-Focus Expertise

Transformer bushings and insulation components are all we make. That focus produces better outcomes than broad manufacturing operations.

Lead Time Commitment

Two weeks for catalog items is the standard, not an exception. It is maintained by managing raw material inventory across the full product line.

Operator-Level Quality

Quality is owned by the person doing the work, not just the QA department. Every operator is accountable for what they produce.

Technical Accessibility

Buyers get direct access to people who understand the products. Phone and email responses come from staff with product knowledge.

Stable Product Line

The catalog changes slowly and deliberately. Buyers can rely on the same part numbers across purchasing cycles and maintenance windows.
